Bergamo is a city located in northern Italy, famous for its historical and architectural beauty. Start your day by exploring the Città Alta, the historic and oldest part of Bergamo. You can take the funicular from Bergamo Bassa to reach the Città Alta. Once there, enjoy a stroll along its medieval streets, admire the ancient architecture, and visit Piazza Vecchia, the bustling heart of the Città Alta. Don't miss the chance to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore with its Renaissance frescoes and the Colleoni Chapel. After exploring the Città Alta, take a short walk to the Rocca di Bergamo.
